Please note that the updated version of the password accessible ejournals on the reference computer desktops is being linked to the new serials & govdocs wiki. This used to be posted to our Intranet.

And as with all internal library wikis, you will need your wiki username/password to login. If you dont have a wiki login, please see Kalewa to get one. If you have any problems with access, please let me know. Thanks, BB

Thesis Duty

Amy S., Brian, and Lari-Anne have all been "trained" on the details of submitting master's theses to ProQuest for publication. I can work with students this week, but after Nov. 29, direct thesis students to one of the above noble people. I'll be back on the job after Jan. 5, so I can take it back then.

Periodicals Backfiles Room Update

Please note that journals which will not return to the backfiles shelves at this time are noted in a black binder at the ref desk labelled: PERIODICALS BACKFILE ROOM: JOURNALS NOT TO BE SHELVED. Please use this folder if you are having a problem locating a journal. Also note that the e-version is usually available for most of these.

Beijing Review

A patron and I unsuccessfully attempted to find the current issue of the Beijing Review - he said it used to be in the General Interest area. Because of the reorganization that is going on, Serials has informed me that it is currently shelved under the Psychology sign (as of now, the label is there, but not the issue) because although some of the journals have moved, not all the signage has moved yet. This patron may come back to the desk to inquire again.
